Friends for Neighborhood Progress, Inc. (FFNP) is a tax-exempt nonprofit dedicated to uplifting low-income residents of Frederick County, MD. We focus on operating a Housing First Permanent Supportive Housing program, which is designed to immediately place chronically homeless and disabled adults into stable housing. Once housed, participants receive tailored supportive services that address critical needs, helping them achieve lasting stability and improved quality of life.
This housing-first approach underscores our commitment to treating housing as a right and the cornerstone for a pathway to recovery, self-sufficiency, and community integration. By ensuring that vulnerable individuals have a safe, supportive base, FFNP empowers them to rebuild their lives and access additional resources that foster health and well-being.
